A new startup out of New York City called Tribute allows users to create video montages honoring someone they love.
The emphasis on all of the press Tribute has gotten has been that this is the best give for someone who is alive and well to receive the tribute via email or USB.
Nonetheless, I also think that it’s a creative way to pay tribute to someone who you lost. It may be a new way to provide comfort to the family the loved one left behind. Especially because once someone dies, the world only seems to focus on how the person died and not on the impact they had while they lived.
For the next 2 weeks, Tribute is free to everyone. Here are some questions you can focus your Tribute video on:
(1) What’s one lesson he/she taught you?
(2) What’s your favorite memory with him/her?
(3) What would you tell them if you had the chance to see him/her now?
I don’t think it’s ever too late to say words of gratitude or in honor of someone you love. Tribute just gives you the opportunity to do it in video form.
Will you be using Tribute? Or have you used it already?
