With FOUR, One Direction has created a new go-to distraction album. The songs range from completely upbeat (think “Girl Almighty”) to slow songs that really make you think (“Spaces”, “Spaces”, oh and did we mention “Spaces”).
We took one for the team and have so far listened to the album a total of 3 times. Here’s why we think this is the best album for taking you away for an hour+:
(1) STRONG VOCALS
Has Niall ever sounded better?! I mean, they all sound amazing. When you consider that they’ve written or co-written a lot of their own songs, you feel a little bit closer to who they are. Also, ED SHEERAN wrote songs for them, so there’s that.
(2) THE TITLE IS IN ALL CAPS AND HONESTLY WE HAVE A THING FOR THAT
It’s FOUR, guys…not Four.
(3-4) Our fave lyrics are reasons enough
First up, lyrics from “Ready to Run”:

This is by far one of our faves:

When someone dies, you need to know that even though a lot of things change, some stay the same. Harry Styles is here to tell you that the love you have for each other will always be a constant.
