Full disclosure this guide has been MONTHS in the making. The original idea for seasonal guides came from Jamie + Kim — you know them as the authors of Too Damn Young’s baking and crafting posts, respectively. (I know them because they’re my IRL friends.)
When they came to me with the suggestion I had no idea how to put this together and honestly am still figuring it out, even though it’s here. Holly Kellner, the mastermind behind the guide, worked endlessly this summer to put together the best representation of what anyone going into high school or college would have to live through.
Our amazing TDY writers + community rallied HARD and wrote so many good essays and tips that will make a lot of moments easier — like writing your college essay, figuring out when you’re supposed to do what in high school, or learning how to do your makeup.
